IAABO Board 12

Dear Fellow Official: Welcome back to the 2011-2012 basketball season.  I hope your summer has been relaxing and you are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Basketball Season.  We had an excellent turnout for our officials this summer with our Board 12 Camp at American University, with approximately 150 officials taking advantage of on and off the court instruction at no charge from some of the finest basketball referees from the collegiate ranks!  Many thanks to all of our Board members who participated in the planning and execution of this event, which we look forward to doing again next year.Your Executive Committee looks forward to a positive and prosperous season for 2011-2012.  Once again, we will be concentrating our rules instruction to a time closer to the season, with our first Business/Interpretation Meeting being held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Spring Brook HS, 201 Valley Brook Drive, Silver Spring, MD.  Next will be the Fall Clinic on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Springbrook HS.  The Fall Clinic includes the 2011-2012 Maryland State Interpretation Meeting. Our second Business/Interpretation Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, @ Eastern MS.  The Rules Examination will be on line www.exams.nfhs.org , further details at the 1^st meeting. In addition our elections will be held in March 29, 2011.  Here is the 2011-2012 Board 12 General Membership Meeting Schedule:
